Responsibilities
- Define solution and system architectures aligned with enterprise strategies, standards, reference architectures, and technology principles.
- Decompose systems into components, establish interfaces, and design scalable solutions for cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data platforms, and integrated systems.
- Evaluate architectural options, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and recommend solutions based on business value, feasibility, cost, performance, and scalability.
- Architect and integrate enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, analytics, AI/ML platforms, and other technology systems.
- Develop architecture models, solution diagrams, patterns, reference architectures, technical documentation, and other architecture deliverables.
- Translate complex business, technical, industry, governance, security, and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Collaborate with project, product, engineering, data, security, business, customer, and other stakeholder teams.
- Provide technical leadership, influence architecture decisions, and manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Support pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, technology evaluations, and adoption of modern software delivery practices.
- Analyze infrastructure and technology capacity and assess emerging technologies for applicability to business solutions.
- Apply Business Relationship Management practices to promote measurable business value.
Requirements
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline, with relevant equivalent experience accepted in place of a formal degree.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, solution and system architecture, cloud architecture, data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, data pipelines, system integration, API architecture, and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with analytics and AI/ML platform architecture, machine learning lifecycle management, and MLOps.
- Understanding of security, governance, compliance, architecture frameworks, design patterns, reference architectures, build automation, and version control.
- Experience designing cloud-based platforms, enterprise applications, enterprise data and analytics solutions, AI/ML-enabled solutions, and integrations across applications, APIs, and data platforms.
- Experience developing solution designs, architecture models, technical documentation, and reference patterns.
- Experience evaluating technology options and leading or influencing cross-functional technical teams and architecture decisions.
- Preferred experience includes IoT, connected systems, DevSecOps, automation, cost optimization, performance engineering, Agile environments, agentic lifecycle management, AIOps, and geographically distributed teams.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Databricks, Snowflake, Neo4j, Azure-native solutions, TensorFlow, PyTorch, predictive modeling, AI-driven decision systems, and cloud-native application and data platform architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, influencing, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
