Responsibilities
- Define solution and system architectures aligned with enterprise architecture strategies, standards, principles, and reference architectures.
- Decompose systems into components, establish interfaces, and develop scalable architecture solutions for cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data platforms, and integrated systems.
- Evaluate architectural options, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and recommend solutions based on feasibility, business value, cost, performance, and scalability.
- Architect and integrate enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, analytics platforms, and AI/ML solutions.
- Create and maintain conceptual and logical models, solution diagrams, architecture patterns, reference designs, and technical documentation.
- Translate complex business, technical, industry, governance, security, and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Collaborate with project, product, engineering, data, security, business, customer, and technology stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, influence architecture decisions, and manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Support pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, technology evaluations, and adoption of modern software delivery practices.
- Analyze infrastructure and technology capacity and assess emerging technologies for business applicability.
Requirements
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline; equivalent relevant experience may substitute for a formal degree.
- Experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, cloud architecture, or a related technical discipline, including architecture design for cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, solution design, system integration, APIs, data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, data pipelines, analytics, AI/ML platforms, and MLOps.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, sustainable enterprise data, analytics, AI/ML, integration, and application solutions.
- Experience developing architecture models, technical documentation, design patterns, reference architectures, and evaluating technology options.
- Experience leading or influencing cross-functional technical teams and architecture decisions.
- Preferred experience includes Agile and DevSecOps environments, cost optimization, performance engineering, IoT, connected systems, AIOps, and distributed teams.
- Preferred or nice-to-have experience includes Databricks, Snowflake, Neo4j, Azure-native solutions, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and technical leadership skills.
