Base Salary
$90k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-native applications and services.
- Contribute to customer-focused features from ideation through production and measure outcomes after release.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and coding agents for development, testing, debugging, documentation, code review, and learning.
- Develop clean, maintainable software and APIs using modern engineering practices.
- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, code reviews, automated testing, deployments, production support, and incident learning.
- Use data, telemetry, and customer feedback to improve products and software experiences.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work, simplify systems, and improve developer productivity.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Quality, Security, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience with at least one modern programming language.
- Understanding of APIs, testing, version control, debugging, and core software engineering principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate technical ideas, learn from feedback, and adapt to new technologies.
- Interest in AI-assisted software engineering and emerging development tools.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
- Preferred: familiarity with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar languages.
- Preferred: experience with AI coding tools or agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- Preferred: exposure to APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, or modern software delivery practices.
