Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Talent.
- Develop custom Workday Extend applications, business objects, APIs, orchestrations, and UI pages.
- Build inbound and outbound integrations with payroll providers, benefits carriers, ATS platforms, financial systems, data warehouses, and other external applications.
- Develop data transformations, advanced reports, calculated fields, and RaaS endpoints.
- Implement secure integrations using Workday security configuration, certificates, OAuth, SAML, and API access policies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, tune, and perform root cause analysis for production integrations.
- Lead technical design sessions, create technical documentation, review peer solutions, and provide architectural guidance.
- Support Workday semi-annual releases, regression testing, configuration and integration promotion across tenants, and integration event monitoring.
- Mentor junior integration developers and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of total experience.
- Strong hands-on Workday Integration development and support experience.
- Advanced Workday Studio experience, including multi-step integrations, XSLT/XPath, Groovy, error handling, and logging.
- Strong experience with Workday Extend, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, SOAP, REST APIs, RaaS, and Workday Orchestrate.
- Experience with Workday security configuration, reporting, Prism Analytics, PECI, payroll and benefits integrations, and third-party systems.
- Experience with integration monitoring, alerting, logging, performance tuning, production troubleshooting, and semi-annual release support.
- Experience packaging and promoting Workday integrations and configurations across multiple tenants.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
