Responsibilities
- Contribute to Layer 2 development of a UE Simulator.
- Use a Cloud RAN environment to test and validate 6G features.
- Support Ericsson internal users with simulator solutions for product development and verification.
- Perform analysis, system design, pre-development, incremental implementation, and verification using unit and integration tests.
- Develop high-quality software for a complex, performance-sensitive product and contribute to the future 6G UE simulator.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IT.
- Knowledge of embedded programming, ideally in the telecommunications sector.
- Strong software engineering skills, including C++ or Python, and knowledge of DPDK.
- Proficiency in Layer 2 protocols including Medium Access Control (MAC), Logical Link Control (LLC), and Radio Link Control (RLC).
- Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
