Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Ubuntu and Debian Linux environments used in development, testing, and production.
- Manage system configurations, users, services, permissions, and network interfaces.
- Diagnose and resolve operating system, networking, hardware, driver, and application issues.
- Create technical documentation, installation guides, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and system integration teams to troubleshoot issues and implement features.
- Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain software for data logging, processing, and visualization.
- Provide technical and product support for data logging, processing, and visualization tools.
- Improve tools, processes, and system architecture to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu and Debian, and administration of server and embedded environments.
- Very good command-line interface skills and knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of C++ and Python.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system, network, and hardware-related issues.
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and routing.
- Experience configuring and diagnosing Ethernet network interfaces.
- Ability to analyze system logs and identify root causes of system and application failures.
- Experience with Linux-based hardware platforms and hardware-software integration.
- Good command of English.
