Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable end-to-end LLM applications from backend architecture through user-facing components.
  • Integrate commercial and open-source LLMs into production applications and workflows using APIs or fine-tuning.
  • Build RAG pipelines involving embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and guardrails.
  • Design evaluation pipelines to benchmark model performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to develop AI use cases and select suitable technologies.
  • Advise client technology and business teams and provide technical expertise throughout projects.
  • Develop AI-enabled software development processes and ways of working.
  • Contribute to software architecture and design, test automation, debugging, and other software development tasks.

Requirements

  • Production experience with AI software development technologies, backend and frontend development, operations, and consulting.
  • Experience deploying AI applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Foundational knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, automated deployment, and test automation.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and databases such as PostgreSQL, pgvector, pgvectorscale, ChromaDB, or Pinecone.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations for sensitive AI data.
  • Understanding of transformer-based models and infrastructure concepts.
  • Comfort engaging with client stakeholders.
  • Fluent verbal and written Finnish and English.
  • Experience with Python or Node.js/TypeScript and frameworks such as LangChain, FastAPI, or LlamaIndex may be required for some projects.
  • Proficiency in JVM-based languages may be required for some projects.
