Responsibilities
- Partner with product management, design, and cross-functional teams to implement and improve customer-facing technical solutions.
- Design, prototype, and lead development of unique software features with full vertical end-to-end ownership.
- Manage assigned engineering tasks and on-call duties while maintaining operational and engineering excellence.
- Participate in hiring and mentoring engineers and support knowledge sharing within and outside the team.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external groups.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship software development experience is required.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design, is required.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is required.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience contributing to system architecture and design, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers is preferred.
