Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-class Java applications and production architectures.
- Design and implement scalable on-premises and AWS cloud-based applications and target architectures.
- Architect, manage, and optimize complex Oracle and PostgreSQL data systems.
- Implement and oversee automated Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate existing and proposed architectures and recommend improvements for stability, interoperability, portability, and scalability.
- Provide strategic technical and management leadership from project inception through conclusion.
- Consult with clients, define needs, supervise studies and project staff, and lead data analysis surveys.
- Support ATO and security accreditation processes and present to government leadership.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, software or database engineering, or related technical fields; the posting also states a minimum of 9 years and 7 years of specialized technical experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline, with additional experience substitutable for the degree.
- Active Top-Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform, Git, and GitLab.
- Hands-on Oracle and PostgreSQL database experience.
- Experience with AWS DevOps, SAST tools such as SonarQube and GitLab SAST, unit and integration testing, automated testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, xUnit, NUnit, Splunk administration, Windows Server administration, and Windows Service Fabric.
- Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and interact with and present to government leadership.
