Base Salary
$141k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Linux Kernel features for virtualization, scheduling, memory management, and IOMMU.
- Optimize power and performance management technologies such as DVFS for ARM-based systems.
- Lead and collaborate with engineering teams delivering scalable data center system software.
- Debug complex software issues using JTAG debuggers and contribute to Linux Kernel open-source projects.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements, and technical documentation.
- Perform pre-silicon development on FPGA-based platforms and QEMU.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of software engineering or related experience, or a master’s degree and 3+ years, or a PhD and 2+ years.
- At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong Linux Kernel development experience, particularly with KVM, schedulers, memory management, and device trees.
- Knowledge of ARMv8 and ARMv9 architecture, computer system architecture, board and SoC bring-up, device drivers, peripheral buses, and DDR memory controllers.
- Experience with Git or other source-control tools, JTAG debugging, ARM-based platforms, and software performance-management tools.
- Hands-on experience with embedded-systems software development and prior open-source contributions are preferred.
- A master’s degree and 6+ years of software development experience, or equivalent, is preferred.
