Base Salary
$140k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop platforms for real-time payments, cross-border payments, settlement, liquidity management, reconciliation, and treasury flows.
- Build blockchain-based solutions for tokenized deposits, stablecoins, on-chain settlement, intraday funding optimization, confirmations, and auditability.
- Develop and deploy smart contracts for payments, settlement logic, and asset movement using Solidity, Go, Rust, or equivalent technologies.
- Integrate blockchain components with core banking systems, payment engines, treasury platforms, and traditional and digital asset payment rails.
- Design scalable on-chain and off-chain architectures across public, private, and permissioned blockchains.
- Apply AI-driven insights to improve treasury predictability, control, and decision-making.
- Build cloud-native, microservices-based platforms meeting enterprise standards for performance, resilience, observability, scalability, security, and compliance.
- Implement secure key management, transaction signing, encryption, identity and access management, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with architecture, treasury, payments, risk, legal, and compliance teams on technical designs and regulatory readiness.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, platform governance, automated testing, and troubleshooting of high-throughput, low-latency systems.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in Java, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms, smart contracts, or distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data pipelines.
- Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Preferred experience in payments, treasury, financial services platforms, tokenized deposits, stablecoins, CBDCs, digital settlement, liquidity management, intraday funding, or reconciliation.
- Preferred familiarity with MLOps, AI governance frameworks, and regulatory expectations for payments and AI in banking.
- Preferred experience working with global, cross-functional teams and communicating across technology, treasury, and business stakeholders.
