Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software and algorithms.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Build and enhance data platform and entitlement solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Lead adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices, including code review, refactoring, testing, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Coach engineers on safe, compliant AI-assisted development practices and promote reusable engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Strong practical experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, microservices, and Kafka-based event streaming.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Practical knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and software development lifecycle tooling.
- Experience designing and implementing data models for relational databases.
- Experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure for compute and storage, with practical cloud-native experience.
- In-depth knowledge of financial-services industry technology systems.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, data mesh, Unity Catalog, lakehouse architectures, Delta, Iceberg, and Spark.
- Preferred experience with IAM platforms, RBAC, entitlement governance, authorization engines, SCIM, SSO, OIDC, SAML, service principals, LLMs, or AI/ML platforms.
