Base Salary
$110k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable Java full-stack applications aligned with enterprise architecture and secure engineering practices.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, develop microservices, and create React frontend components integrated with backend services.
- Perform unit, component, integration, and regression testing, participate in peer code reviews, and maintain high engineering quality.
- Provide application maintenance, production support, monitoring, configuration management, performance tuning, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, resolve production issues, and improve operational stability and service reliability.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to scope, estimation, timelines, risks, dependencies, and implementation planning.
- Collaborate with business analysts, systems analysts, solution designers, application support, infrastructure, QA, and business teams.
- Support reference data handling, security master management, corporate action processing, reconciliation, and exception handling.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11 or later, Spring Boot, object-oriented design, collections, concurrency, and modern development practices.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, query optimization, and SQL development.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API contracts, resiliency, observability, and deployment considerations.
- Hands-on experience with React, reusable components, state management, modern frontend development, and backend integration.
- Experience with Broadridge, including BPS, Gloss, and Impact data models; Broadridge BPSA or similar brokerage processing platforms are a plus.
- Experience with reference data, security master management, corporate action processing, data reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Financial-institution experience, knowledge of enterprise controls and regulatory expectations, and prime brokerage or securities finance experience are preferred.
- Python experience for automation, scripting, data analysis, or support tooling is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate technical decisions, risks, and issues clearly.
