Responsibilities
- Design and build code to provision full application and infrastructure stacks.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation for code promotion and software delivery.
- Create cloud architecture patterns, reusable modules, libraries, templates, and standards.
- Integrate applications with operational tooling including monitoring, scheduling, backup, and reliability platforms.
- Conduct DevOps maturity assessments and provide technical expertise on automation, coding, and architecture issues.
- Support project teams with operational requirements, impact analysis, estimates, technical documentation, and delivery.
- Own live-service operational issues, escalate appropriately, and drive issue resolution.
- Identify operational risks, technical debt, industry trends, and opportunities to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other teams to establish common standards and procedures.
- Create educational materials and conduct training and mentoring on DevOps subjects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud-native solutions with infrastructure as code and defining DevOps patterns and practices.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing DevOps automation, including secrets management, code and binary scanning, and SDLC tools.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines that orchestrate code promotion using open-source or commercial products.
- Experience defining cloud-native operational requirements and observability and alerting standards.
- Experience with cloud technologies across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience delivering advanced, end-to-end technology solutions at scale in large enterprise organizations.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior development, infrastructure, and architecture stakeholders.
- An open, collaborative mindset and a 'you build it you run it' approach.
