Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support high-quality enterprise software applications for trading products.
- Build new trading capabilities for a platform used across multiple asset classes.
- Define product solutions in collaboration with business and product teams.
- Develop and test backend services and event-driven applications.
- Participate in engineering standards, test automation, and continuous improvement of software development practices.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Preferred exposure to JMS or Kafka for event-driven applications.
- Preferred experience with Cucumber, Fitnesse, or Karate test automation frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases; Oracle and PL/SQL are preferred.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Trading or trading-technology domain knowledge and exposure to the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol are advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
