Base Salary

$165k - $231k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools and applications that automate manufacturing processes and standardize performance-based benchmarks.
  • Design, implement, deploy, and support enterprise-scale systems and services for business operations.
  • Produce user documentation defining integrations between enterprise-level applications.
  • Use DevOps technologies to solve software automation problems.
  • Identify gaps between enterprise systems and develop remediation plans.
  • Share expertise in performance, scalability, enterprise architecture, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a full-stack engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and scalable application development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or a comparable backend programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, FastAPI, Django, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks.
  • Frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling or frameworks.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and production applications that consume or expose API-based services.
  • Experience supporting servers, databases, services, and enterprise applications in production.
  • Strong familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and database design; NoSQL experience is preferred.
  • Production or enterprise experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Experience with automated testing, debugging, performance tuning, and secure, maintainable production code.
  • Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, research, and solution design.
  • Ability to take technical ownership, collaborate on technical issues, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Preferred qualifications include DevOps tooling and practices, ERP or MES software, AI-enabled business or engineering workflows, and industrial IoT or connected manufacturing experience.
