Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a custom double-entry ledger system for financial integrity.
- Design and scale lending products, including credit disbursement logic.
- Implement robust integrations with payment gateways and banking partners.
- Create user-friendly interfaces for payments and lending.
- Balance rapid feature development with the correctness required for financial systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend systems (Python, Postgres, AWS) and modern frontends (React, TypeScript).
- Experience in fintech or payments, with knowledge of ledgers and payment processors.
- Expertise in SQL and relational database design.
- Proven track record of fullstack ownership from technical design to production.
- Bonus: Experience with distributed systems, credit/risk modeling, or alternative assets.
