Responsibilities
- Design scalable, reliable, manageable enterprise architectures and target-state solutions.
- Provide architectural solutioning for client RFPs, new deals, and major change requests.
- Lead technical design, development, implementation, integration, documentation, and design assurance activities.
- Evaluate solution feasibility, cost structure, risks, tradeoffs, customer differentiation, and technology fit.
- Enable delivery teams with frameworks, transition support, technical mitigation, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Collaborate with clients, executives, sales, consulting, program/project teams, product owners, peer architects, and IT groups.
- Present solution designs to clients, support pre-sales activities, negotiate requirements, and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Develop proofs of concept, case studies, demos, white papers, blogs, and industry points of view.
- Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects and contribute to architecture practice activities.
- Hire, onboard, develop, evaluate, engage, and manage the performance of team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to create enterprise-wide architecture and lead complex solution design engagements.
- Experience analyzing client requirements, technology environments, business objectives, and enterprise constraints.
- Ability to provide technical leadership across custom solution design, implementation, integration, quality assurance, and delivery transition.
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, negotiation, advisory, and pre-sales capabilities.
- Ability to document architectural designs, frameworks, standards, risks, mitigation plans, metrics, and recommendations.
- Ability to develop proofs of concept and communicate technical thought leadership through presentations and written materials.
- Ability to mentor technical professionals and manage hiring, onboarding, performance, and team engagement activities.
