Base Salary
$183k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software architecture and technical direction for one or more modules or subsystems.
- Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and document software for ASML machines and applications.
- Define subsystem decomposition, technology selections, interfaces, platform boundaries, integration approaches, and technical specifications.
- Develop reusable software components, frameworks, services, APIs, and WPF/XAML user interfaces.
- Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, integration activities, and technical decision-making.
- Drive software quality strategy, automated testing, debugging, diagnostics, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Coordinate technical dependencies, roadmaps, project planning, risks, and mitigation strategies across teams and disciplines.
- Provide technical direction, coaching, mentoring, and architectural guidance to software engineers.
- Evaluate emerging software technologies, frameworks, development tools, and engineering practices relevant to ASML products.
Requirements
- Master's degree with substantial general work experience, or an equivalent working and thinking level.
- Comprehensive experience in the relevant area sufficient to reach full competence and experience as a seasoned designer.
- Completion of at least one Product Development Cycle.
- Demonstrated expertise in C# and .NET Framework/.NET development.
- Demonstrated experience with WPF, XAML, MVVM, software architecture, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Experience debugging complex software systems across multiple layers.
- Experience with build systems, automated builds, deployment pipelines, source control, collaborative development workflows, and NuGet package management.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, test automation, technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture reviews.
