Senior Software Engineer, Officer
State StreetResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI-centric software components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, product managers, business analysts, and global teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and platform initiatives.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and root-cause analysis for escalated issues.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through test automation and assist with manual testing as needed.
- Participate in the CRD scrum methodology, including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Support continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong React experience.
- Strong engineering fundamentals.
- Experience leveraging AI tools in routine development and work activities.
- Java experience is advantageous.
- Financial-services experience is a plus.
