Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain reliable, scalable, performant, and usable infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure and system performance, identify and resolve vulnerabilities and outages, and use data to reduce mean time to resolution.
- Automate tasks and processes using software scripting and coding to reduce manual intervention.
- Implement secure infrastructure configurations and protections for hardware, software, and data.
- Contribute to cloud and container-based environments, DevOps practices, CI/CD improvements, and continuous infrastructure improvement for payment screening systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure leads, engineering teams, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage operational risk and controls, support policy and procedure changes, and take responsibility for the outcomes of assigned work.
Requirements
- Experience with infrastructure design and implementation, cloud automation, platform engineering, cybersecurity best practices, secure infrastructure delivery, technical debt management, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Linux, Bash, PowerShell, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and experience working with certificates and keys.
- Highly valued: knowledge of encryption, firewalls, access control, TCP/IP, routing, switching, security, and basic database concepts.
- Highly valued: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Highly valued: experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, analyze factual information, resolve problems, collaborate across functions, and communicate complex information.
