Responsibilities
- Design and build customer-focused solutions on the Android platform.
- Serve as a technical expert, work independently, and help establish team standards and technical procedures.
- Own the full development lifecycle, including operational support and incident resolution.
- Lead architectural decisions focused on customer needs, scalability, performance, and new value delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and develop teammates through mentorship, pairing, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years building native Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
- Broad and deep knowledge of Android architectural components, including Room, LiveData, Jetpack, and Compose, and the MVVM architecture.
- Understanding of multithreading, concurrent programming, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Coroutines, Flows, offline-capable applications, and RESTful APIs is a plus or relevant preferred experience.
