Base Salary
$68k - $136k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform software integration testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure appropriate tests are executed properly.
- Develop integration test plans and scenarios with other Software Integration Test Engineers.
- Perform testing on target instruments in a laboratory environment.
- Complete software integration activities for user stories within the software development lifecycle process.
- Perform exploratory testing and system-level, end-to-end integration testing using customer day-to-day scenarios.
- Investigate and report unexpected events, issues, and software bugs, and verify fixes.
- Operate instruments and repair or replace parts and subassemblies.
- Travel up to 5% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum two years of work-related experience required.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and biologics.
- Experience generating and documenting verification and validation or characterization-related inputs.
- Experience with experimental and data analysis techniques, including statistics, design of experiments, and Six Sigma training.
- Ability to present, deliver, and interpret information among product teams, scientists, engineers, and systems development personnel.
- Preferred experience performing software integration testing of complex electromechanical systems.
- Regression and functional testing experience is preferred.
- Experience in the medical industry and an FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with complex diagnostic medical equipment is preferred; Abbott IVD systems experience is a strong plus.
- Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Python or Bash scripting knowledge is preferred.
- Troubleshooting experience across multiple hardware and software system functions is preferred.
