Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable web applications and APIs using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Develop and maintain Node.js backend services with REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.
- Contribute to architectural decisions across frontend and backend systems.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver practical solutions.
- Translate operational needs into technical solutions for relationship, deal, and workflow management.
- Participate in and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Build AI-powered features that surface insights from operational data.
- Migrate legacy applications into modern web-based systems.
- Support and mentor new-career engineers.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications.
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Backend experience with Node.js and service/API development.
- Experience designing and working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, with AWS or Azure preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized workloads; Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts; Terraform is a plus.
- Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Strong product instincts, collaboration skills, and comfort working amid evolving systems and processes.
