Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, optimize, maintain, and integrate components of NVIDIA’s autonomous vehicle stack on OEM platforms.
  • Take AV features from prototype to production performance and evaluate them across OEM carlines, platforms, regions, operating domains, and sensor configurations.
  • Triage complex feature issues using simulation, replay tools, vehicle logs, and on-vehicle diagnostics, then drive root-cause analysis and resolution with customer engineering teams.
  • Develop AI-assisted tools for large-scale replay, KPI evaluation, issue classification, root-cause analysis, and regression detection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional NVIDIA teams and OEM partners, including through vehicle testing and international travel as needed.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong C/C++ and QNX/Linux skills, including modern C++, data structures, debugging, software design, and performance optimization in real-time embedded and control systems.
  • Deep expertise in one or more autonomous vehicle stack components: Perception, Mapping, or Planning & Control.
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration across global teams and OEM partners.
  • Preferred: experience delivering production-grade AV stack components, hands-on deep learning model training/evaluation/optimization under production constraints, advanced control theory applied to real vehicle behavior, or certified test-driver experience in Europe.
