Base Salary
$209k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for real-world business problems.
- Build and scale multi-tenant platforms for large-scale ML model training and serving.
- Make ML infrastructure decisions involving model selection, data, features, training, tuning, dimensionality, bias and variance, and validation.
- Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate testing and deployment.
- Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production.
- Build cloud-based architectures and platforms for optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct production-ready data pipelines for ML training and evaluation.
- Apply continuous integration, continuous deployment, test automation, monitoring, model governance, responsible AI, and explainable AI practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional Agile teams to develop big data and ML applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 6 years of machine learning experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 6 years of experience operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production and operating cloud production services with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field.
- Preferred: 5+ years optimizing ML algorithms, configurations, infrastructure, production data pipelines, and resilient software solutions.
- Preferred: 5+ years applying software development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response practices.
- Preferred: 5+ years working with supervised, semi-supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning; regression, classification, and clustering; and RNN, CNN, LSTM, and Transformer architectures.
- Preferred: ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and machine learning concepts clearly to varied audiences.
