Base Salary
$223k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and evolution of the SMBP Operator's CRD API surface.
- Design and implement flexible network configuration patterns for customer choice.
- Build observability integration with Prometheus-native metrics and dashboards.
- Harden the operator's security posture across various security contexts.
- Ensure SMBP deployability across multiple enterprise Kubernetes landscapes.
- Develop operational tooling for scalable support and diagnostics.
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand deployment requirements.
Requirements
- Production experience with Rust, including managing a multi-crate workspace.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and controller operations.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining a Kubernetes operator.
- Fluency in Kubernetes networking and configuration management.
- Experience managing StatefulSets in production environments.
- Knowledge of observability integration with Prometheus metrics.
- Experience with enterprise security reviews and compliance requirements.
