Base Salary

$154k - $229k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own technical customer engagements and the ultimate success of specific projects.
  • Define and design cloud architectures and advise customers on application and integration approaches.
  • Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of application and service construction.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services.
  • Provide technical design, thought leadership, whiteboarding, and small- and large-group presentations.
  • Partner with sales, business development teams, system integrators, and solution providers to expand AWS adoption.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Travel 30%.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience preferred.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities preferred.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies preferred.
  • Experience with technical presentations, web services development and deployment, cloud computing, website or service operations, management, and security.

  • Base salary ranges from $153,600 to $228,600 annually depending on location, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
