Base Salary
$193k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead product demos, presentations, technical workshops, and partner-facing discussions.
- Provide technical input into partner proposals and own the technical pre-sales process.
- Translate product and business requirements into implementable integration solutions.
- Define technical approaches for APIs, tokenisation flows, error handling, reconciliation, settlement, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Validate and troubleshoot partner integrations using API tooling.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound before release.
- Use AI tools to accelerate solution design and technical proposal work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing or integrating technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, authentication patterns, and product troubleshooting, ideally in payments or fintech.
- Knowledge of acquiring, issuing, tokenisation, payment flows, order management, and settlements.
- Experience with API tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Understanding of Visa and Mastercard rules as they apply to acquiring, chargebacks, and disputes.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and present to Go-to-Market, Product, Engineering, commercial stakeholders, and partners.
- Client-facing technical experience with web technologies, payments integrations, or checkout ecosystems is preferred.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and at least one of PHP, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby on Rails is preferred.
- Experience with web shop systems, content management systems, technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or delivery-facing engineering is preferred.
- Awareness of PCI DSS and cardholder data handling requirements is preferred.
