Responsibilities
- Integrate, configure, and support Sterling WMS components and data flows between warehouse and enterprise systems.
- Analyze warehouse workflow issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Design, develop, encode, test, debug, document, and support complex software and integrations.
- Develop applications and interfaces using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, EDI, Oracle Database, SOAP/REST Web Services, DataPower, API Connect, XML, SOA, ESB, and workflow technologies.
- Troubleshoot and modify core and customized software and resolve escalated technical and operational support issues.
- Develop specifications, prototypes, test plans, queries, reports, and PL/SQL-based data analyses.
- Gather business requirements, communicate with end users and customers, and provide consultation on complex projects.
- Mentor team members, peer-review technical deliverables, and serve as a point of contact for complex issues.
- Provide after-hours, weekend, and evening on-call support as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Eight years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of Java, JSP, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Oracle Database and programming with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Ability to analyze technical and business information, solve non-standardized problems, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Ability to prepare documentation, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
