Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the integration design, development, and validation of interfaces between SmarterDx and hospital EHRs.
- Serve as the technical expert on customer engagements, guiding architecture discussions.
- Own integrations end to end, including specification development and production stabilization.
- Lead data validation and reconciliation to ensure integrity and compliance.
- Design for reliability and observability with monitoring and operational runbooks.
- Conduct structured incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Improve integration operations through automation of repetitive tasks.
- Monitor evolving interoperability standards and provide architectural guidance.
- Influence product and platform strategy based on field experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting HL7v2 interfaces at scale.
- Expert-level understanding of EHR-specific message structures and error handling.
- Advanced interface engine architecture and operations experience.
- Exceptional executive communication skills for influencing senior leaders.
- Proven expertise in scalable database extraction architecture.
- Significant experience with FHIR R4 APIs and SMART on FHIR workflows.
- Hands-on experience in JavaScript or Python for message transformation.
- SQL fluency for validation and troubleshooting across complex datasets.
- Familiarity with data transfer security best practices.
