Base Salary
$90k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for on-premises and cloud deployments.
- Build, document, and maintain secure, scalable APIs, microservices, and web services.
- Manage hybrid networking, API request routing, and data synchronization between on-premises storage and cloud services.
- Apply site-reliability practices to support resilient, highly available service delivery.
- Implement security scanning, compliance checks, OAuth 2.0, SAML, API-key authentication, and rate limiting in the development lifecycle.
- Automate manual workflows and build scalable programmatic API integrations.
- Provide leadership and clear communication during system outages, API failures, and production incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience.
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship; Top Secret/SCI is preferred.
- Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification or a higher DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II-compliant certification such as CYSA+, GSEC, or CISSP.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong API engineering experience, including API gateways, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and web service protocols.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, Go, or Node.js.
- Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that will not require current or future visa sponsorship.
