Base Salary
$114k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, and integrate complex tactical and strategic software solutions across existing systems and tools.
- Lead code and design reviews, communicate status to stakeholders, and support planning and daily operations.
- Develop complex algorithms and resolve application, system, and production issues across end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance, and review teammates’ code.
- Influence domain architecture and quality standards, identify technical debt and performance issues, and optimize solutions.
- Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience demonstrating deep technical expertise in enterprise platform engineering and systems integration.
- At least 4 years delivering technology solutions across the stated solution lifecycle.
- Expertise with either the Blend Point of Sale Platform or Dark Matter Empower LOS Platform, including installation, integrations, customization, vendor or batch management, maintenance, support, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience across responsive web UI applications, APIs and backend services, and event-driven and data integration platforms.
- Experience influencing integration, solution design, modernization, and complex software delivery across multiple Agile Scrum teams and stakeholders.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications with security, compliance, scalability, observability, and operational support considerations, including familiarity with RAG, knowledge retrieval, vector search, AI agents, and model orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred expertise in Golang, Java, Python, C++, multiple technologies and database platforms, AWS, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Apache Kafka, SQL, NoSQL databases, Git, Control-M, data pipelines, data integration, and Snowflake.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, software architecture and design patterns, real-time streaming, TDD, BDD, CI/CD practices, critical multi-system applications, and automated data processing.
- Advanced cloud or product certifications are preferred.
