Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs through review, testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, visualize, and report on large and diverse data sets to improve applications and systems.
  • Identify patterns and hidden problems in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Develop and maintain algorithms and production code that operate synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology initiatives.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect within the team.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern ReactJS patterns, and UI/UX design principles.
  • Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency with React Testing Library, Jest, pytest, unittest, and other Python testing frameworks.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining React and Python code in a large corporate environment, including database querying languages.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred experience with Redux, Context API, Next.js, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, Django, Flask, cloud technologies, and AI/ML.
