Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and performance of Plaud’s AI products at scale.
- Design and operate highly available, scalable, cloud-native systems for AI workloads.
- Own production reliability, incident response, and on-call practices.
- Build observability through metrics, logs, tracing, and reliability automation.
- Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets with engineering teams.
- Lead postmortems and drive reliability improvements across the platform.
- Partner with product and engineering teams on reliability design and operational maturity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong experience with at least one cloud platform among AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems.
- Experience with on-call rotations and incident management.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Python, and Java.
- Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive platforms is preferred.
- Experience managing GPU clusters is preferred.
- Knowledge of SLO/SLA frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with fast-growing or global products and exposure to multi-region systems are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
