Base Salary
$242k - $333k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise investment leaders and translate investment strategies, research priorities, and business challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
- Design and deliver proof-of-concept and production-ready AI capabilities for investment insights and decision-making.
- Build and ship LLM-enabled applications using RAG, embeddings, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and API integration.
- Partner with Investments, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, engineering, and platform teams to meet security, governance, scalability, and regulatory standards.
- Influence the AI and investment technology roadmap by identifying opportunities, evaluating emerging capabilities, and promoting adoption.
- Lead the transition of successful prototypes into sustainable enterprise capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of combined experience across investment management, quantitative research or strategy, and hands-on software or AI engineering.
- Experience working directly with trading desks, portfolio managers, or investment researchers; desk strategist, quant strategist, or research technologist experience is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-enabled or LLM-integrated applications.
- Strong Python development skills and experience producing production-quality code.
- Expertise with cloud infrastructure, API design, version control, and modern software practices.
- Fluency in at least one asset class, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset, or macro, sufficient to contribute to investment discussions.
- Experience delivering secure, auditable AI solutions in regulated environments and partnering with risk and compliance teams.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, MCP, agent frameworks, orchestration tools, and vector databases is preferred.
- Experience building internal copilots, research assistants, or document-intelligence tools is preferred.
- CFA, FRM, or an equivalent investment credential is preferred.
- A track record of shipping AI or analytics solutions with measurable real-world outcomes is preferred.
