Responsibilities
- Build and improve modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
- Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure according to client project needs.
- Help clients select suitable technologies, architectures, and delivery approaches.
- Contribute to cloud environments, deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production quality.
- Debug, test, monitor, and improve production-grade systems.
- Work on customer-facing services, internal platforms, identity, martech, customer support, analytics, online stores, integrations, developer tooling, or SDKs.
- Collaborate directly with client technology teams, business stakeholders, designers, product teams, and other disciplines.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and turn them into working software.
- Take responsibility for delivery while supporting the wider team.
- Use modern development practices, including AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong experience in modern frontend development, such as TypeScript and React or comparable technologies.
- Strong experience in backend service development, such as Node.js, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure, or Python or comparable technologies.
- Experience building, shipping, and improving production-grade digital products.
- Ability to work across implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Understanding of cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production system operations.
- Ability to work directly with clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines in a senior consultative role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous product or technical situations.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to contribute technically and help teams progress.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Experience with customer-facing digital products, online services, ecommerce, subscriptions, internal platforms, analytics, martech, or similar domains is preferred.
- Experience with high-traffic or business-critical production systems is preferred.
- Deeper experience with platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code, or DevOps practices is preferred.
- Experience with internal tools, integrations, SDKs, or developer tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with mobile development or React Native is preferred.
- Finnish language skills are preferred.
