Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable software solutions across multiple squads and domains.
- Provide architectural guidance, create technical diagrams and flows, and influence enterprise architecture decisions.
- Drive engineering standards, code quality, observability maturity, tooling improvements, and modern cloud-native practices.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads across squads and provide technical continuity during transitions, escalations, and delivery challenges.
- Guide cross-functional problem solving and stabilize production incidents or outages.
- Define observability standards for logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and operational readiness.
- Evaluate AI-assisted development tools and establish responsible team-wide usage standards.
- Maintain architecture documentation, compliance artifacts, and required training and HR documentation.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in software architecture, system design, and integration patterns.
- Deep experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, and VPC.
- Strong command of Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and NodeJS for backend development.
- Advanced knowledge of microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Expertise with Splunk and Dynatrace, including metric design, logging strategies, and cross-system dashboards.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, performance optimization, and reliability engineering practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, mentoring, adaptability, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead architectural strategy across squads and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
