Base Salary
$127k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and improve operational practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery and communicate blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices from scratch.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio containerization.
- Some experience with Kafka.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
- ReactJS web-development experience is preferred.
- CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure experience are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and application design skills.
