Responsibilities
- Develop Salesforce features using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Build and maintain Salesforce managed packages, including Second Generation Packages.
- Use CumulusCI and Salesforce DX workflows, including scratch orgs and unlocked packages.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between AWS-hosted services and customer Salesforce instances using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Design and deliver global, fault-tolerant, highly available cloud services using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AWS services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS-hosted services and support escalated production incidents.
- Use Git-based version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Plan, conduct, and monitor product releases while supporting SDLC process management, governance, safety and soundness, and issue resolution.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met.
- Mentor junior engineers and developers in programming technologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to analyze requirements and deliver well-architected, scalable cloud services.
- Extensive engineering experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- At least 2 years of Second Generation Package development experience.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Salesforce managed packages.
- Experience with vendor software, technologies, and enterprise solution tools.
- Deep understanding of Agile development practices and secure application development concepts, including OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and modern delivery systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with AppExchange products and Salesforce Support Engineering or product-focused teams.
- Salesforce Developer or Architecture track certifications are preferred.
