Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customers to understand workflows, AI use cases, and integration challenges.
- Design and ship custom implementations involving AI voice assistants, Telnyx APIs, WebRTC, and communications workloads.
- Deploy and operate LLM gateways, self-hosted model stacks, model routing, observability, governance, and guardrails in customer environments.
- Lead technical discovery, POCs, pilots, production launches, troubleshooting, and customer outcomes through stable go-live.
- Build production observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, and operational runbooks.
- Adapt models and RAG pipelines for Polish and Czech use cases and relevant regulatory environments.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmap improvements based on field insights.
- Create technical documentation and maintainable solutions for customer handoff.
- Travel to customer sites and support high-stakes technical conversations across Poland and the Czech Republic.
Requirements
- CS degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Go.
- Practical knowledge of production model concerns including rate limits, retries, streaming, token accounting, cost attribution, and concurrency failures.
- Experience deploying containerized services on Kubernetes with secrets management, configuration, and upgrades.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Graylog, or ELK.
- High-concurrency experience with Kafka, message queues, or event streams at scale.
- Experience building APIs, including OpenAPI, REST or GraphQL design, authentication, rate limiting, versioning, and idempotency.
- Event-driven and cloud-native engineering experience.
- Exposure to SIP, WebRTC, or real-time voice and messaging systems.
- Customer-facing engineering experience, including technical discovery and executive presentations.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot integration issues and make sound engineering decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Polish.
- Based in Warsaw or willing to relocate, with legal authorization to work in Poland or eligibility for sponsorship.
- Preferred experience includes AI voice assistants, STT/TTS, LLM conversational systems, evaluation sets, LLM gateways, open-weight models, inference serving engines, SQL, ETL, CI/CD automation, telecom or CPaaS, sovereign or on-premise deployments, EU regulations, IAM, encryption, and audit logging.
