Software Engineer MTS
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build and enhance Salesforce applications for large-scale projects.
- Plan, design, and implement scalable web application frameworks for desktop and mobile.
- Collaborate with architects and lead engineers on application design and implement object-oriented design patterns.
- Develop unit and functional automated tests in Java and/or Apex, test suites, test plans, and test strategies.
- Work toward comprehensive test coverage and champion software development and SDLC best practices.
- Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with quality engineers, business analysts, product owners, and other team members to deliver products.
- Communicate project status and risks while managing multiple projects and contributing beyond the immediate domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 3+ years of programming experience with a master’s degree or 5+ years of programming experience in Java, C, or .NET.
- At least 2 years of development experience on the Force.com platform.
- At least 2 years of web development experience using server-side technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design and design patterns, web services using SOAP and REST, database concepts, data modeling, and SOQL or SQL.
- Strong software quality engineering process fundamentals and experience developing automated tests.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects, meet aggressive deadlines, take ownership, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to communicate effectively, motivate people, instill accountability, and communicate status and risk.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, Force.com/Apex/Visualforce, and Force.com administration or developer certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium or similar tools, source control management systems, JavaScript-based single-page applications, and Salesforce Lightning, Angular, React, or Vue is preferred.
- Experience with Scrum teams, Agile development, test-driven development, continuous integration, and software-as-a-service concepts is preferred.
