Responsibilities
- Develop and operate production-grade generative AI solutions involving LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Use AI agents, prompt engineering, and generative AI technologies to automate and accelerate software and platform engineering.
- Integrate AI-generated code with human-written code and select appropriate AI engines for project needs.
- Establish governance, guardrails, quality standards, and best practices for AI-assisted software development.
- Guide platform and software engineers in adopting AI tools effectively and contribute to AI software-development open-source projects.
- Debug production systems, restore services, and drive reliability improvements.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and scalable cloud-native infrastructure.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and thought leadership around AI-enhanced software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and AI-generated code integration.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in AI-enhanced software development and strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile Development Practices, Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Preferred experience developing and operating scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure.
- Preferred experience building backend services with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Preferred experience with A2A architectures, MCP, multi-agent systems, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or PydanticAI.
- Knowledge of AWS, with Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, and cloud-native AI tooling experience considered a plus.
- Knowledge of automated testing, monitoring, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
