Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Citi1Credit platform features using Core Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs.
- Design and develop application components through analysis, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Identify application vulnerabilities and security gaps and implement fixes through debugging and testing.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, and database objects.
- Integrate continuous integration pipelines using Maven or Ant, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Consult with business users and technology teams to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and support deployed systems.
- Assess technical risks and ensure solutions meet compliance and reliability standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience, including experience in financial services or comparable technology environments.
- Proficiency in Core Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.
- Applied experience with JDBC, JPA, and ORM frameworks.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful web APIs and working with JSON-based data exchange.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, stored procedures, indexes, and triggers.
- Familiarity with Ant or Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and JUnit for build, CI, and testing workflows.
- Ability to analyze systems, identify solutions, deliver results under pressure, and manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
