Responsibilities
- Lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept exercises for AI-powered customer support use cases.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored solutions, scope engagements, and communicate measurable business value.
- Conduct customer discovery with support and technology decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
- Own proof-of-concept engagements as the primary technical resource and drive successful outcomes.
- Create implementation plans, define requirements and scope, and coordinate handoffs to Forward Deployed Engineers and post-sales teams.
- Build and modify demo applications using AI-assisted development tools for customer-specific use cases.
- Collect customer feedback to inform product development and improve Maven AGI’s offerings.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales with a record of supporting successful sales outcomes.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, along with the ability to read, understand, and explain code, including AI-generated code.
- Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Foundational understanding of software development workflows, cloud infrastructure, basic security and compliance, and REST APIs.
- Conceptual understanding of enterprise AI solutions, including RAG, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval.
- Strong technical presentation, customer relationship, prioritization, and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with ETL tools, data integration solutions, customer support operations, CX technology, Salesforce, Zendesk, or Freshdesk is preferred.
