Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for LLM, agent, and classical machine learning systems.
- Design suggestion engines and policy or rules layers combining deterministic constraints with generative outputs.
- Architect search, retrieval, embedding, and RAG pipelines and lead relevance tuning and evaluation.
- Oversee web scraping, document extraction, structured data normalization, image processing, and OCR workflows.
- Establish offline and online evaluation strategies using quality, latency, and cost KPIs, including unit-style LLM testing.
- Guide data governance, privacy and PII handling, and secure model and agent operations with MLOps partners.
- Lead design reviews, produce design documents and RFCs, mentor engineers, and communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in machine learning.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proven experience architecting and shipping production machine learning and LLM systems.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, engineering toolchains, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of machine learning generalization, regularization, deep learning architectures, transformers, LLM inference, fine-tuning, PEFT, and RAG.
- Experience with evaluation strategies, responsible AI, explainability, cloud, and DevOps initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience leading Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
