Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s security strategy across infrastructure, data, and AI systems.
- Establish governance models and security practices for deploying AI agents safely, including SOC 2, ISO, and potentially FedRAMP readiness.
- Build guardrails, monitoring, policy enforcement, and audit capabilities into AI agent systems in production.
- Identify, prototype, and potentially commercialize security products and internal tooling.
- Lead incident response, threat modeling, red team exercises, and adversarial testing for AI-specific attack vectors.
- Represent Human Agency in client conversations, partner discussions, industry forums, publications, and speaking engagements.
- Deploy and operate security infrastructure hands-on, including zero-trust architectures, secure multi-agent systems, monitoring and detection tools, and secure data pipelines.
- Write code, configure systems, and debug production environments as needed.
Requirements
- Experience as a CISO, VP of Security, or Head of Security at a high-growth technology company is expected, ideally involving AI systems.
- Deep hands-on experience securing AI and machine learning systems, including LLM architectures, model training pipelines, and inference infrastructure.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native security programs across AWS, GCP, or Azure, including zero-trust, identity and access management, and secure multi-tenant architectures.
- Deep knowledge of threat modeling and red teaming, ideally involving prompt injection, model inversion, or data poisoning.
- Experience designing and implementing security monitoring, incident response, and compliance programs from startup through enterprise readiness.
- A track record of building or contributing to security products or tooling used by customers or other teams.
- Ability to work entrepreneurially, handle ambiguity, understand commercial trade-offs, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and build institutional knowledge.
