Responsibilities
- Modernize and migrate existing codebases to improve reliability, maintainability, scalability, and technology foundations.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy V1 products under demanding timelines and constraints.
- Develop complex applications and interfaces using Java and Spring Boot while accounting for UX/UI and business requirements.
- Work across conception, development, QA, and production deployment.
- Collaborate directly with client product and business teams and operate autonomously when clients lack internal technical expertise.
- Contribute to Theodo Extend’s engineering community, technical practices, and development as a growing entity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
- Curiosity, autonomy, structure, and the ability to take perspective on one’s work.
- Interest in using technology as a business-value lever rather than simply executing tickets.
- Willingness to share knowledge, learn continuously, improve, and help others progress.
- Motivation to invest in a developing organization where individual impact matters.
