Responsibilities
- Launch and scale voice AI for patient activation and outbound calls to insurers, vendors, and providers.
- Design agents that orchestrate end-to-end workflows such as DME delivery, prior authorizations, and care coordination.
- Build real-time copilots that assist and nudge healthcare advocates.
- Create evaluation infrastructure, usage-signal capture, feedback loops, and reinforcement-learning pipelines to improve agent quality.
- Compose voice, workflow, and copilot agents into a unified AI Nurse experience with shared learning loops.
- Deploy agents to production, monitor real patient interactions, and turn usage data into system improvements.
- Partner with founders on the technical roadmap and make architectural decisions for growth from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of patients.
- Document systems, establish engineering best practices, and build a scalable foundation for future engineers.
Requirements
- Build and deploy AI agents or LLM-powered systems from scratch for real users at production scale.
- Build evaluation pipelines, quality metrics, production usage signals, and feedback loops for AI systems.
- Have hands-on experience with RLHF, reward modeling, or other feedback-driven improvement methods for LLM systems.
- Monitor and debug AI systems in production and maintain reliability during real-world interactions.
- Healthcare, health tech, regulated-industry, HIPAA, or PHI experience is preferred.
- Medicare, insurance workflow, or clinical operations familiarity is preferred.
- Voice AI experience, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and real-time voice orchestration, is preferred.
- RAG, vector database, and knowledge retrieval pipeline experience is preferred.
- Open-source AI contributions or relevant side projects are preferred.
