Responsibilities
- Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services in the observability pipeline.
- Design and evolve APIs for use by other engineering teams.
- Identify and tackle architectural bottlenecks to improve reliability.
- Drive the ideation, implementation, and adoption of new features.
- Collaborate on planning and refinement to enhance engineering alignment.
- Respond to alerts and provide support for troubleshooting production issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with highly distributed systems.
- Expertise in designing and implementing APIs and data pipelines.
- Experience improving software reliability across various metrics.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Java programming languages.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools.
- Solid understanding of system design and tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated track record of leading projects end to end.
- Highly motivated to learn and develop continuously.
